Purple yams are a rich source of Vitamin C
Ingredients:
Purple yam
Dhaniya jeera powder
Red chilli powder
Amchur powder
Salt
Lemon
Oil to shallow fry | | METHOD | Wash well and boil kand in the cooker. Then peel and cut into slices. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry. Your Kand is ready!
Sprinkle dhaniya jeera powder, salt, red chilli powder and amchur powder. Some also like to add lemon drops.
Makes for a great starter at any party!
