| INGREDIENTS | Super health, very easy, very tasty, very filling!
Ingredients:
Safed matar (vatana) - dried white peas Onions Tomatoes Haldi powder Red chilli powder Garam masala Meethi (khajur imli) chutney Lemon Salt Oil, jeera and hing (optional) | METHOD | Soak safed vataana overnight. Next day boil vatana (add 1 cup water for every one cup soaked vatana). Then add haldi, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt.
In case you want some more flavour (optional), you can make a tadka of jeera and hing, and add it to the boiled vatana. Your ragda is ready.
Serve ragda chaat in a bowl, garnished with meethi chutney, finely chopped onions, tomatoes and corriander leaves. Spice it with red chilli powder, chaat masala, salt and lemon to taste.
