| INGREDIENTS | Not only are beetroots extremely healthy and rich in calcium, iron, vitamin A and C, but they also add a nice colour to your dining table spread.
Ingredients:
Beetroots Curd (yogurt) Corriander leaves Chaat masala Black pepper Oil Jeera (cumin) Rye (mustard seeds) Hing (asafoetida) Kadi patta (curry leaves) Salt | METHOD | Boil 2 beetroots and grate them. Then out the juice (you can mix this juice with some other fruits or veggies for a healthy drink).
Now mix the Beetroot with 1 cup of dahi and 1/4 cup corriander leaves. Add chaat masala and black pepper.
Then make the tadka (optional) by sauteing rye, jeera, hing and kadi patta. Mix with he bettroot dahi mixture.
Your super healthy raita is ready! Garnish with corriander leaves.
This. colourful salad can be eaten either as a side dish during lunch or dinner, or by itself for those in-between hunger pangs!
