| INGREDIENTS | Bhindi (lady's finger) is not only her favourite vegetable but also a super food!
Bhindi lowers bad cholesterol, regulates blood sugar, fights cancer, boosts immunity, prevents anaemia, helps in reducing weight
Ingredients:
Bhindi (okra)
Garlic
Onion
Dhaniya jeera powder
Salt
Oil
(Chilli powder and Amchur - optional) | METHOD | Chop medium-thin bhindi slices (thin slices are better if you like your bhindi crispy). Heat oil in a pan and start by sauteing finely chopped garlic and onion pieces. Once golden brown, add chopped bhindi, partially cover it and cook for 10 min on a slow flame. Stir occasionally to prevent the bottom from sticking. But don't stir too much, else the bhindi will become sticky. Then add dhaniya jeera powder and salt. Mix and cook for 5 more minutes, or longer if you like it crispy. But do keep checking to prevent bhindi from burning. Your subzi is ready.
