| INGREDIENTS | Perfect for a midnight snack!
Ingredients:
Bread
Salsa sauce (readymade)
Cheese
Iceberg lettuce
Tomatoes
Boiled potatoes
Capsicum
Spring onions (scallions)
Oregano
Lemon | METHOD | On one bread slice, start with laying iceberg lettuce and topping it with salsa sauce. (Lettuce leaves prevent the salsa sauce from making the sandwich soggy). You can decide the quantity of the salsa sauce based on how spicy it is. (Mine was very spicy, so I have used it in moderation, but the flavour still comes through). Then add slices of tomatoes, slices of boiled potatoes, slices of capsicum and finely chopped spring onions.
On the other bread slice, put a slice of cheese and add oregano for flavouring. My son likes to add a few drops of lemon too. Your choice.
Join the two slices together for your unique cheese salsa sandwich!
Packed with veggies, is perfect for anytime of day or night!
(Tip: To keep it vegan, skip the cheese)
