TOASTED AVACADO VEGETABLE SANDWICH Recipe | Snacks Recipe by reluctant_chef |
| INGREDIENTS | Healthy and very tasty!
Ingredients:
Avacado
Tomatoes
Spring onions
Corriander leaves
Bread slices
Cheese slices (optional)
Salt
Pepper
Lemon | METHOD | Cut Avacado in half, remove seed and scoop acacado. Then mash it with fork or a masher. (Not in a blender since I prefer it chunky to smooth and creamy).
Now add finely chopped tomatoes, spring onions and corriander leaves and mash it all together, but keep it chunky. Mix salt, pepper and lemon. If you like it spicy, you can also add chilli flakes or jalapeno.
Your avacado filling is ready. (This is also a perfect avacado dip for chips!)
Now take two slices of brown bread, spread avacado filling on one side and a slice of cheese on the other. Bring both the slices together and toast it on a pan.
(By the way, avacado is very healthy because it contains more potassium than even banana, is an@immunity booster, helps in regulating blood sugar and aids in cardiovascular health. Best of all, since it has more fibre than any other food, it makes you feel fuller, and so helps in weight loss!)
Avacado sandwich best enjoyed with chips!
