| INGREDIENTS | Very easy very healthy! Perfect as sandwich spread or a dipping sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
Chick peas
Dahi
Garlic
Olive oil
Salt
Lemon
Red chilli powder (or paprika)
Sesame seeds (for garnishing) | METHOD | Soak chickpeas (chana) overnight and boil the next day.
Then in a mixer, blend 3 cups of boiled chickpeas with 1 cup yoghurt, 5-6 peels of garlic, 2 tbsp of olive oil, lemon and salt. Your Humous is ready. Transfer to a serving bowl.
Garnish with sesame seeds and red chilli powder or paprika. Create a swirl in the humous with a spoon and drizzle some olive oil in the groove created (and any herbal seasoning if you have).
You can use it as a spread in sandwiches, wraps or falafel. You can also enjoy as dip with lavache, chips and vegetable sticks.
