SINDHI ALOO TUK Recipe
Snacks Recipe by reluctant_chef

 30 mints  4

  INGREDIENTS
Recipe and Live Demo by Mrs. Rani Kalro (@kalrorani)

INGREDIENTS:
4 Medium Sized Potatoes (Talegaon Potatoes)
Water to soak the potatoes
Salt as per taste
Oil for frying

To Sprinkle on Tuk:
Haldi / Turmeric
Red Chilli Powder
Amchur

  METHOD
Peel the potatoes and chop into halves or quarters depending on size of potatoes. Boil the potatoes in salted water. Once they are boiled, let the potatoes come to room temperature.

Heat the pan and add oil to fry them on slow flame for some time. Now remove them and place them on a clean tissue paper. Cover with another tissue paper and press them in the centre until they get flat. Be careful that you don't smash the potatoes.

When its time to serve, fry once again until slightly golden colour. Remove from pan and sprinkle with red chili powder, haldi, amchur and 2-3 drops hot oil which helps the tuk to shine.

Ready to serve traditional Sindhi Aloo Tuk.

Enjoy!
