SIMPLE PHOOL GOBHI Recipe | Main Course Recipe by reluctant_chef |
| INGREDIENTS | Super easy, super quick!
Ingredients:
Phool gobi (cauliflower)
Tomatoes
Onions
Garlic
Ginger
Jeera
Dhaniya jeera powder
Chilli powder
Haldi
Salt
Oil | METHOD | Break pieces of cauliflower florets. Heat oil in a pan. Sautee jeera until it sizzles and then add garlic and ginger pasted and diced onion pieces. Cook until onions turn golden brown. The add cauliflower pieces, diced tomato pieces, salt and haldi. Cover and let it cook for 10 minutes. Stir the mixture and add chilli powder and dhaniya powder and cook for further 15 minutes. Your cauliflower vegetable is ready!
(Tip: the super simple Gujarati style of phool gobhi is made without tomatoes, onions, ginger or garlic. It is simple made with haldi, chilli powder, dhaniya jeera powder and salt!)
Garnish with corriander leaves and enjoy!
(Tip: Be watchful when you cut cauliflower, since there could be worms, especially during monsoon time)
