| INGREDIENTS | Super easy, super healthy
Ingredients:
Lauki (dudhi or bitter gourd)
Tomatoes
Garlic
Ginger
Jeera
Chilli powder
Haldi
Salt
Gur (for Gujrati style)
Kokum (for Gujrati style) | METHOD | Make small pieces of lauki. Heat oil in a cooker and sautee jeera, garlic and ginger paste in it and add tomato pieces. Mix haldi, chilli powder and dhaniya powder. Now add lauki pieces, close the cooker and let it cook for 4 whistles. Your lauki subzi is ready!
(Tip:If you want to make it Gujrati style, skip the garlic and ginger and instead add gur (jaggery) and kokum)
Garnish with corriander leaves.
(Tip: This Vegetable is extremely light on the stomach and so is often made for nursing moms and for when you have have stomach upset)
