One illness which can delay the entire process of baby bonding is postnatal depression. In case even after a few weeks of the birth of your baby you do not feel attached or comfortable with your baby than you did on the first day of her birth, it is a cause of concern. Postnatal depression causes women to actually feel detached, resentful or very anxious about the newborn child.

It is crucial to the health of both the parents as well the newborn for the baby bonding issues to be resolved as soon as possible. Feeding time for me is the best bonding time. I can talk to her and look at her. also while taking a walk, i like to carry my baby in my arms and that is a great bonding strategy.

Massage time is the best time for bonding with the baby. all mothers should massage the baby and during that time, they can also talk to him. though he will not be able to talk but will be able to understand.
