During his term Harry is subject to all sorts of dangers by Voldemort (Oops, I said it!!), the Dark Lord, who's very name rings with evil vibrations and inspires deep fears in the hearts of all those that live in this parallel universe. While wizards and witches co-exist with humans or Muggles, they have their own rules, regulations, secret society, and even the secret platform 9 ¼ for catching the train to Hogwarts. The school is filled with ghosts, mystical creatures, and paintings that talk guard the entrance of the house dormitories. All photographs in the world of the wizards move about, snakes talk and cars fly. The book introduces you and your children to an entire new world of magic and mystery, and from the moment you start reading the first book, you are hopelessly entangled in the web woven by J.K.
