i never buy flags on independence day which are sold on road side as they are usually thrown away on the streets the next day. i try to pick up all the flags and then dispose them off with due respect.

we should all celebrate independence day with patriotism as it is hard earned. we are now living in a free country and we do not know what it is to be a slave so we must cherish our freedom and thank our forefathers and other people for the freedom struggle.

i am proud to be an indian. my great grandfather was a freedom fighter and i have been hearing about his stories from my grandfather. it is really a nice feeling.
