I went to the doctors and he told me that they are skin pigments and told me to put Selsun Shampoo on it everynight and leave it on all night. I did just that and they dissapeared. Selsun is a medical shampoo for Flackey scalp and Dnadruff which you can get from your local chemist.It doesn't smell the best but trust me it works. If you cant get Selsun then take a trip to the doctors and they can advise you what to do.

hey my boyfriend has been getting brown patches, like massive birth marks mostly all over his back sides stomach and a bit on the arms but mainly stomach. It recently became darker and spread even more. Its real patchy. Because his dark skin these patches are darker. He said they are called sun spots and you can die from it if it spreads too much but I'm not too sure if it is. They are smooth not rough. We live in Australia. Is there any cream for this? I dont neccisarily know how to get ride of dark spots but i hear lemon jucie helps?I havent tried it even though i have darks spots/freckles but i have learnt to accept them. I do know how to make your skin better if you are absolutley desparate for help. My friend had terrible acne then he realized it was from drinking milk. He stopped drinking milk onlyfor aawile because you do need it and it really helped. Also the clinique line of products does work. And also take salmon oil it helps your skin alot i take it every day and it really works.

Hi, if u have acne, pimples or blackheads on the face, i would use duac once daily-this can be prescribed by your gp..it takes a while to work but has gr8 results. i posted an add about this and i went to the doctors, the lady knew what it was and she told me i got it from goin to Mexico(any sweating place like south america) and i do go very often, i have these spots everywere, stomach,under arms,biceps,neck, and the doctor asked"have u ever went to the dirmatologist?" and i answered "yes" she then asked "they didnt know wat it was right" i said "yea they didnt, they recomended me something that didnt change anything" then she told me what it was. She told me to use a cream that u use 2 times a day called "KETOCONAZOLE" and its workin they have been goin away and i have noticed a big change. Okay its hard to get rid of them i know that, alot of things dont work on sertain people because we all have different skin types, but what helps is taking a shower daily and make sure you scrub your dark spots good and use lots of lotions, USE ALCOHOL get rubbing alcohol, it's not that much. After that you just dip it in a little towel, and just kind of scrub your dark spots, dont scrub them TOO hard. This will help if not then just go to your doctor and ask for help :)

Hey guys when I was 3 years old a Brown patch the size of my palp appeared on my right upper quadrant below my breast. Then 3 years later another not as big appeared above my belly button. Then 3 years later I got 2 more and then 3 years later I got 2 more and at the age of 15 I got 2 more. Now that I'm 18 instead of them spreading they are expanding. They look like birth marks that just appear and the older patches are starting to indent into my skin. So I did some research and saw addisons disease could be the cause so I went and got checked out cuz I also have these brown lines down my nails that could be a cause of addisons and thyroid but when I went and got tests done they came back normal. So that is not an option anymore and all the skin doc's I've been to keep treating me for fungus bc they tell me they have never seen anything like it b4 so first tought is fungus and all the meds don't work. I just wanna know what it is it's all over my stomach and back and I just want it to stop.

Hey everybody!!!I had old acne scars for years on my face and I started using biotherm. its a little expensive but it really works. U need to buy the puryifing lotion(for faster result)a green bottle and the other small bottle call PURE BRIght it cost about 50 dlls. but u just need a single drop for all ur face. believe me is worth it. try to apply every lotion u use with ur fingers really smooth massages. U can buy it online ;). and some other tips are, do not use bar soap, try to sleep at least 8 hrs a day. do not use greasy lotions. Belive me is not what u eat is not how much water u drink. most of the times are hormonal problems and stress. some people eat a lot of junk food and have beautiful skin. do not touch ur face with ur hands that much and avoid the SUN. Hi there every1 I have a terrible problem. 3 years ago I had an small accident and I hit my lower part of my left leg close to my foot and the bruse wouldn't go away. not only did not go away started to spread making more spots on my leg kind of red and brown then I started getting them on my other leg. So now I have them on both of my legs. I went to the doctor to an specialist for skin cancer and they took sample of my skin from both of my legs, the doctor said that I had just a bad pigmentation of the skin and that they would go away and I might get more. He gave my a banishing cream more like a bleach to use for 2 weeks but all it did was burn the crap of skin on my right foot. I dont know what to do I am so sad about this spots I can't wear skirt or shorts. PLEASE HELP ANYONE PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO!!!!!!

i will see if i can help some of you. I have had problems with brown pigment above my top lip for 2 years with no idea why it came. I found that fade out cream original worked really well at reducing the brown mark, however have read does not work very well on dark skin so prob better for lighter complexions. I bought mine from Boots. As for the best sun cream to use so far i have found loreal solar expertise anti brown spot sun cream spf 50 to be the best so far at keeping the problem to a minimum hope this helps anyone who has found a better spf cream am interested in your finds.

The best thing for black spots on the legs is a cream called hydroquinone 4%. Over the counter products only contain 2% so you would have to have it prescribed by a dermotologist. The use of any products containg alpha hydrox acids is also a good place to start. Just go to your local bookstore and pick up a book called "Beautiful Skin of Color", it will give you all the info you need because this summer I will be able to wear shorts for the first time in 20 years.

Okay, I have been dealing with huge brown spots on my face too. Go to a Dr.or dermatologist for treatments but it is not a sure thing. You have to stay out of the sun but if you cant sunscreen on face always!!! The products out on the market will just lower the pigment but will not take completely away. Sometimes it will actually make the spot darker. Ambi, Porcelana cream,Avon, Mary Kay, Estee lauader and so on have pruducts but again only to lighten. Try on small part of your face in case of irritation the products for lightening the spot. Count on some good make-up until the spot lightens and wear sunscreen .

i'm 16 yrs old and i tried everything to get these blotches off my face and i use proactive and yes it worked a little but once i ranned out of the solution my face broke out even more so you have to keep buying it over and over i'm just looking for something that will just get both pimple and spots off my face at the same time and if i can just use it once and it will just stop everything from coming back on my face forever.if only they made a product like that.

I went to a dermatologist and he really helped. I got this stuff called differin and it works so awesome! I also wash my face with Cetaphil. I can tell you guys suffering with achne that it does really work. You just have to make sure you wash your face every night and put differin on all of your problem areas. Also if you hold an ice cube on the red spots on your face for a while it will cool the area and make it lighter in color. Good Luck!
