![]() Lemon Rice served during Pongal
2 cups basmati
rice
METHOD: Wash and cook
the rice in water till done. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the mustard
seeds, chana dal, urad dal, asafetida and turmeric powder lightly in it.
Pour over cooked rice and mix well. Add salt to the lemon juice and mix
it into the rice. Serve hot.
