![]() Sweet Pongal of Tamil Nadu
1½ cups
rice
METHOD: Fry cashew,
almonds and raisins in ghee till light brown. Keep aside. Prepare cooked
rice in water till the rice turns soft and the water evaporates. To the
cooked rice, add jaggery and condensed milk and lower the flame. Cook until
it turns dry with constant stirring. Add cardamom and clove powder and
mix well. Sprinkle fried nuts and raisins.
