My daughter gossiped at school about a tradgety of a girl in her class father who died. This girl had no idea prior to my daughters gossip. My daughter was repremended and she promised not to gossip again. I told her of the damage gossip can do... The very next week she did it again but of a different person. This time she was lucky I was there and was able to stop the gossip . I'm so angry and I also worry that some day someone will not take her gossip... How do I discipline her now?

Gossip, is surly not healthy, done for fun or serious. The interpretation of one person about another which creates an impression in the minds of the third person could be different mostly bad. Let everyone have the opportunity to judge by themslves. Every one intelligent enough. So why spoil someone elses reputation or who are we to build one. Children... please keep away from gossip and use that time persuing your hobbies.
