I do not regard myself as a child, but I know that if my parents tried to force me to watch an 'educational' programme the more I would say no. Kids are rebels at the best of times, and forcing what you think is best for them down their throats is not the best approach. Not every child wants to watch 'adult' programmes. And here adult programmes are on the subscribe channels and late at night, i don't know about you but when i was ten years old i was in bed by 9pm, so i didn't get to see 'adult' programmes not that I had any interest in such things at the age of 10. Yes, I agree there are some programmes that children should never see, but making them watch the 'Discovery' channel as a form of entertainment in their rooms, is not the way to go, i don't think. The locking system have a code. If you want to remove an adult channel, It is very simple. Just to on that particular channel and untune it....
