Nice article. But as it says 'decreasing opportunities' - this is nor true. Opportunities are incresing with time. The only thing is that we as parents should keep an open mind so as to tap the right opportunity at the right time., so our children also learn to do the same. Also it is unfair to do unnecessary comparisons with other kids because every child is special. However in my opinion a parent should compare upto some extent meaning he should tell the child to compare with his own performance in the previous test or output. this way the child also gets a good feeling about himself & is encouraged to be progressive. Overall it is a wonderful article.

nice article.in todays competitive enviroment we as parents should know our limitation to raise a happy &healthy child if we cross the boundaries for our satisfaction and desire it could be worse or fatal for them so first we have to look thier interest and happiness.

Today's life is very compitative life. Kids have to getup early in the morning do the studies the go to school with a heavy bag of books. We should not put over pressure on the kids. It should handle it properly in a proper manner. Good Article.
