In december 1999 i gave birth to a little girl born at 24 weeks wieghing only 535grms, or 1 pound 3 ounces. she will be 7 years old this december and she is a very bright beautiful little girl who came through the whole ordeal with no problems what so ever . It was a very scary time for us though i have to admit, one day at a time is the best way to get through, and although it was a very scary situation i would,nt have changed it for the world, we realise just how special she is and how lucky we are.

Everything that I read soinds pretty much true,or at least about the same as the other sites.I read 24 weeks and it says that a baby could be born now and only live for a couple of hours outside of the uterus,but some actually live for good because I read a story of a baby born at 23 weeks that suvived
