hi renuka, this is a forum where people post views on their article, its not for the writer to answer questions. anyway, i am a school counsellor and we educate children about sex when they are in the 7th standard, around 12 years old. in any case, it is always better to tell your daughter about menstruation before she she starts, so u can tell her this a little earlier, maybe when she is around 11, in a very general manner.
