My son who is now 8 years old cried almost incessantly when he was an infant. As a new mother, I would frustrated, irritated and confused as to why my son was crying. Some people said colic, some said hunger, some said he would grow out of it in three months. I waited for the magical three months but nothing happened. He settled down when he wanted to !. Some children, I know now in retrospect, are cranky and we have to accept them. We try to comfort them, give them some drops for colic but if they continue to cry for no apparent reason, we just have to grin and bear it till such time that they decide that they have cried enough. Take heart, babies are humans too,with their own personality traits and crankiness is one of them.
