Deciding at what age to send your child for tuition can be tricky. Uptil 5th standard, the parent should take responsibility for the child's studies. Later on it is okay. Why would you need to send a 5 year old for tuitions.

I live in the very eriticroatic society where success determines ones future. I have no had a sngle tution in the toughest subjects and I am now off to the US to do medincine. Many people told us that tution could push my 99 to a 100. Tutions are in my opinion an extra stress on the cild. Ultimately , the child will think that for the money that his parents spend that can be up to 60 dollars an hr , he has to do well to make it fruitful. I must say that genius is one percent god given and 99 percent determination. Encourage your chiuld there is no better tution .

Comment:
it is always better for the parent to sit with the child to get his homework done. this way there is parent-child bonding as well as there is involvement from the parent's side. also, the parent can do his work side by side while he does his work. this way the child also feels important.
