This article sounds okay in principle but may not actually work. People are too busy correcting their children for drawing 'outside the lines'. Besides, how many parents do you know who encourage their children to draw on the walls.

Reading this article, i totally agree to what the author has to say, as i too work with small children from the ages 3yrs and up, and follow the same principle, which is to allow the child to express him/herself freely. Art cannot be taught like a maths or a science, it has to come from within the individual be it a child or an adut. Art has to grow in you as a love, and always remain with you through life, so that one may always learn to admire beauty and have a creative thought in mind.
