we do recognise the problem in the education system. but its time to go beyond listing out its evils. parents are always crying about the load on the kid and still demanding more - and we will soon have a generation of burned out teens. so its time we started finding alternate schools - which may prepare the child for the 10th board exams - but more creatively and with a more wholesome approach. to this end- it would help if journalists in education start featuring schools such as tridha in bombay, sloka in hyderabad, or the montessori school. we need to create a data base of this information and help parents help their kids. i hope to see a new message board for starters where everyone contributes all they know about different schools they know of / in their vicinity.
