It is non-biodegradable, meaning that millions of years after it has been discarded plastic will continue to pollute our environment. is it ethical to overweigh its cheap cost and usability against the fact of such long term damage to our environment?

Always take a basket with you when shopping. It is trendy, practical and you will save the enviroment for a lot of plastic. Always use rechargeable batteries. Even if they are a little bit more expensive, each batteri can be recharged up to 1000 times! It saves a lot of energy and waste.

why not use black plastic bags.they are only 99p and come as a pack of 20 or so.just keep them at your backyard and place them at your boundaryside in the night before counsil garbage van comes to collect them.Make sure that u seperate recyclable waste at the green box supplied by the cousil only.
