Get a big open rack for your children's bedroom and stack all big toys, soft toys, books on that rack so that whenever the child needs it, he can easily take them and also it will look quite smart standing there with all sorts of colourful things. Also for toys which are part of a set such as puzzles, a train set to be assmebled etc which you dont want to lose any part of it, put them in seperate boxes made out of shoe boxes and stick colourful paper on the outside to give it that nice bright look and stack them on the open rack with the lid on so that the dust will also not gather inside the small parts of toys. One of the best ways to keep the house clean is to do a regular spring cleaning, especially with kiddie things. Either they outgrow clothes (no matter how much you have spent, they will never be able to wear it again!) or baby books. Once they have gone past that stage of books, they soimply should be given away. No point in hoarding becasue you will have to give it away ... in 5 years for sure! So why not now. The most importnat thing when doing speing cleaning is to use the rule that if you have not used it in one year, you will probably never use it!
