I used to use a ear bud to clean my ears until a colleageue told me that it causes a hole in the ear drum and nothing short of surgery can help it . I sgeest that if you have wax in your ears though it does self clean , applyi some ear drops that are prescribed by a GP and go for a wax daringe treatment regularly . It is qoite affodable and not too time consuming .

I have a very bad habit of inserting an ear bud into my ear especially after my bath. I picked up this habit from my parents though. Will make sure I resist from now on.
