But the key is that you walk fast enough to leave you puffing and panting a little bit. Even if you walk endlessly at a pace that you are comfortable with, you may not lose weight. But if you walk about 15-20 mins to start with, at a FAST pace, you will definitely see results. As soon as you feel you are getting comfortable with the pace, you must increase your pace little by little. The best way to do it is to time your walk. Calculate, in 20 mins how many steps OR what distance do you cover at your present speed. Increase that distance in a weeks time.
