Do not interfere with Music. I see a lot of them just focus on changing music than exercising. They irritate the most.

An imporant tip that is not mentioned here is to bring a small towel or use a towel given at gym..or a paper towel at the least...workouts cause sweating and it is not hygienic to wipe sweaty hands on the arms of a exercise equipment or the impression that it gives..walking around with a sweaty body!! It seems obvious but many people do this..

I too agree,taking kids to gym shud be absolutely NO NO...you can always workout when ur kid is off to school.But yes all of us shud make exercise to be a part of our life style...try YOGA..its GR8 too

Seems most gyms nowadays usually provide a small nursery for people to drop their kids off with while they're working out - so that is beneficial. My biggest pet peeve however, is people who don't re-rack their weights/plates. I'm a fairly fit guy and don't have any problem lifting 100 lb plates, but is it irritating when I go to use the leg press and I have to unload 7 45 lb plates from each side. Whether heavy plates or not, show some courtesy towards your fellow gym goers and always always re-rack your weights. Not everyone can lift some of the heavier plates, besides that, its simply respectful.

I agree with the writer. Taking kids to the gym is not a good idea. They will keep on disturbing you and you will not be able to concentrate on your exercise. For proper fitness you should always go to gym. In the morning if start with exercise, you will feel fresh for the whole day........
