My left foot almost stays swollen and your article helps me to try different things so that I might learn the cause. I am in my 70's, diabetic 2, inactive, arthritis & osteoporsis in back, degenerating lower back therefore cannot walk far, overweight, both shoulders and rotaries broken 5 yrs. ago.

Nice Article, but I want to point out one thing. My brother used to have freq. feet-swelling episodes..and it was later found out that he has a kidney desease called IgA nephropathy.. Now his doctor has advised him to actually limit his fluid intake as it might actually put undue stress on his kidney. I was wondering if the point you have made about "drinking lots of water" always applicable?
