As long as the game that will be launched is linked to the steam account that this game(s) belongs to, and as long as there is a steam client on this computer, the games will work normally.
However, if you are going to allow another person to borrow your account, you, as the account owner, are 100% responsible for any games, trading items and real money invested in the account
As long as your friend is playing single-player games, this is fine, but don't let him trade items or (if you have a credit/debit card/PayPal/etc.linked to your account) buy games without your permission.
