I have to agree that roller skating is a very fun and healthy sport. It builds physical strength and coordination for people of all ages. I started skating after going to a friend's birthday party at the local roller rink. Originally I wanted to take a few classes just to learn how to skate, but I ended up getting so much more than that. I ended up absolutely adoring the sport and got involved in roller skating's figure skating program, which by the way is much more affordable than ice. 14 years later, I've traveled all over the world competing in competitions and now I'm coaching and passing on the love for roller skating.
