Went through ivf/icsi and failed first time going for a second round soon. Not sure what caused failure number of things I guess. I have never ovulated before, had implantation bleeding, then caught a viral cold and I think my body fought everything off. I was told eating spicy food would fight the embryo off as well. Dear Sir/Madam, I have had two IVF failure in India. . My case history is as follows: I had lapratomy for the removal of cysts from ovaries. Two cycts were removed from right and one from left ovary. After lapratomy i was kept on Depo - Lupron shots for 6 months and after that i have had prolonged bleeding which is caused specially after cramping. My hormonal blood test which was done one and a half years back.. are LH 13.7 mIU/mL reference range 0.0 -76.3 PD FSH 6.0 mIU/mL PD TSH 3.460 uIU/mL reference range 0.350 -5.500 PD Prothrombin Time 13.7 H sec reference range 8.8 -13.0 Testosterone, serum 49 ng/dL reference range 14-76 Free Testosterone(Direct) 1.4 pg/mL reference range 0.0-2.2 Please provide what are my chances of getting pergnant through ivf. Doctors have asked me to take LIT. But i have seen no ivf success with patients already taken LIT injection. What is my percentage of success? We have just failed our first IVF Very sad. They told me it was because my embroys did not like the lab culture. Did anyone here this before. They also said that they are going to make changes in the lab.

i did my first ivf in may, it was an etopic pregnancy. what can really change trying again scared of going through another etopic.

Just had a negative response from IVF 2 which went much better than the first and got 8 blastocysts from 16 eggs retrieved. Cleary the blastos didn't implant as I am bleeding on day 15 post transfer. What are my chances of future success?

We have just experienced our first failed ivf(icsi)attempt. Problems lie on both sides - a low sperm count and high (but variable) fsh level.I am only 33. Two embryos made it to transfer - one "excellent", the other "good" quality. My questions are:- 1. Why did it fail (especially the "excellent" one)? 2. What are our chances of succeeding a second/third time (given my variable fsh) 3.The eggs harvested from me were "average" quality. Is this linked to the failed attempt...and if successful, am I more likely to have a defective baby?
