nice article but u know what its nice only in reading,if implement on child its not that easy and secondly if child learns all table manners then he is not child,Children are innocent and their attitudes are natural so let them do whatever they want,I am not saying we should not train dem for table manners but only few steps.Well one more thing that our religion ISLAM taught us these things 5000 years ago...Our prophet Muhammad said we should lick our fingers after finishing food,but ppl says its bad manners ,u know whats the logic behind it ,that our finger tips have such screatios that helps u in digest ur food....anyway site is good

My children used to have such bad table manners- but we have had so much fun, teaching them how to eat propperly. well i can honestly say that not being a parent doesnt help me write this but here goes. To teach table manners one must always be strict, once you falter in discipline they start prying into the crack you're created until you solid plan to develepo ur kid breaks in two. Second, never ever ever let very young kids serve themselves, even at home. I mean, that's the reason you create so much waste. AS for the person who asked how to teach Indian table manenrs, simple. Remember that using your hands is always possible. I'm indian myself*(teen) and man a fork and knive just won't cut it when you're faced with aloo gobi and naans. As for meat, teach then to atleast take the meat off carefully with a fork and knife OR with their roti sot hey don't end up smearing it all over the place. AS for the rest of you people you need articles, sry but i'm searchign as well for table manners of specific regions in INdian and man you better get outta here cuz this site is for people who can offer info and who enjoy to comment such as myself. namaste!
