I'm fascinated by the fear of one's child having dark skin or using oil that may blacken the skin of the baby. While an uneven skin color may be due to vitamin or mineral deficiencies, use of oil on a baby's skin will not blacken it. People the world over are doing everything they can to darken their skin. Tanning salons are big business here. It is ignorance that deems dark skin color a disgrace. And that ignorance is world wide. Bless your child's good health and remember, how your child feels about him or herself will determine their level of mental health.

My 5th child is 4 weeks old and developed baby acne at 2 weeks. My other 4 babies had it bad for 6 weeks. This time I took all oil and fat completely out of my diet (I'm breast feeding) and my 4 week old's acne is almost all cleared up. It's worth a try.
