Peel Skin and Cottage Cheese Thighs - Taking Action
-
The first step is to prepare yourself
to undergo an intensive programme to detoxify your body and prevent the
further build-up of toxins.
-
Eat healthy. Cut out the fat and the
salt. Eat high fibre fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. Avoid
oily, fried foods. Cut down on tea, coffee, alcohol and smoking. But remember
the idea is to purify the body, not to lose weight.
-
Exercise is important as it stimulates
blood circulation and keeps your metabolism running smoothly. It also tones
the muscles and firms up the tissue.
-
Some people have found that a daily
routine of massage and brushing the skin with a loofah helps as it stimulates
circulation.
-
You will also find numerous anti-cellulite
creams in the market, but there is a question mark about how effective
they really are. They usually contain drugs that are supposed to break
down the fat molecules into fatty acids that will eventually be excreted
through the bloodstream. However, it is doubtful if these creams can permeate
human skin merely by rubbing them onto the surface.
-
Then there's always the celebrity option
- liposuction. However, this is not very advisable. It is expensive, involves
invasive surgery and there's no guarantee that the cellulite won't just
come back in a while.
-
Of course, there is also the option
of doing nothing at all, if you're of the laissez-faire school of thought.
Cellulite's not a life-threatening condition. So, your thighs are not your
most attractive feature. Never mind, wear trousers or a long skirt.
