I think that you should never get an aborition. Because I think that it is a sin to get an aborition because you are killing a person that you could give a full life too but instead you are taking a life away. If you have an unplanned pregnancy you should have the baby and tell the father and if you are not able to take care of the baby you can let the father, so the baby will be loved. always love and care for your baby.

I think that you should never have an abortion. Some people just b/c they are pregnant they have controll of the babies life and tecnicly they do but you took the responsibility for having sex so you should take responsibility for you actions and if you are old enough to have sex you are definitly old enough to have children so my advise better be safe then sorry or you should be on some type of birth control I was and I got off of it and even though the last time I had sex I used a condom doesn't mean I couldn't have a chance of getting pregnant but if I am I won't regret it b/c it was my choice to have sex in the first place but I hope I am not but if I am I will have this baby b/c I am a Catholic and I don't believe in abortions and I wish people would make wise disitions b/c if you do have a abortion god will never forgive you for it even though you think he has just b/c you have had another child but I do believe women should have the choice but wut ever choice they make they will have to live with is just remember that oh by the way I am about to turn 17 next month

Hello Danielle, In response to your posting I can tell you this, the ultimate choice is up to you. I know what you are going through. I have had 2 unplanned pregancies. And I am glad that I have made the decision to keep them both. It is amazing when I think about it because my first was a birthday surprise and the second was my Christmas surprise. The more I thought about it, I came to realize that children are a gift from God. God has, for whatever reason, has given these gifts unto me. And to give them away or to murder them would be like a slap in God's face. I know it is a hard situation to be in because you don't want to go through it alone. I have gone through to and I have survived and became a stronger person because of. You should make your decision on how your boyfriend would feel, because if he didn't want any kids he would have put on a condum. These are the chances you take when you have unprotected sex. It sounds like his indeciveness is comming from the fact that he doen't want to take on the responsibility. God will not put more on you than you could bare. So, this mean you could handle it. If you you are worried about finances and so forth, know that their are programs and agengies that can help women in situation like these. You have to decide which direction you want to take your life. I highly suggest that you consider continuing your education. Decided on a career and start at a community college where it is possible to get paid for going to school. Try not to have any more kids until you get married or have become financially equipt. ANd most important, establish a relationship with God. Whatever the denomination, this is important. I personally do not have a denomination. I am interested in the doctorine that teaches the truth and the belief that Jesus is our savior. Remember, you are the one who has to anwer to him regarding your actions, not by what boyfriend has urged you to do. If he truly loved you, he would respect your decision to keep your child. Men will come and go. God is forever. "The Bible says that a man who finds a wife has found a good thing." If leaves you God will send some for you and your child when you are ready. It also says "that a man who doesn't take of his child is worst than an infidale." God doesn't want his children to go unsupported. If worst comes to worst, put him on child support. I am a mother of two children and pregnant with my third which was not planned. But was it? How can I or any other person really not understand such a simple concept. If you engage in sex you open the possibility of creating a new human being. It's simple. Even somtimes with protection there is that slight chance. Sex is a very powerful and wonderful thing. It's not just for our own personal pleasure. It also have a purpose. Let me put it another way. View your body as a house. If you invite a guest to your home even if it is perhaps on accident. Do you as a host have the right to terminate that persons body? I have looked into the eyes of a newborn human baby. Their life does not begin the second they came down the birth canal. I have felt my own children kick within me. They are human and are alive. Just because I was their life support gives me no ownership over there existence. Can a medical doctor choose to turn off a patients life-support system without their choice, just because they are vulnerable makes them not less of a human. I know being pregnant is not an easy thing. I had my first child when I was 19 years old and not married. My daughters father wanted me to have an abortion. I knew in my heart is wasn't right. She is ten years old now and is an smart and beautiful. I have never regreted being her host.

It is very hard(& sad) for a woman to take the decision of abortion. But sometimes it is a wise decision(even in marraige) for health reasons, career options or anything else.However,as the article says abortion is not a means of contraception. Women should take utmost care so they are not faced with this dilemma of unplanned pregnancies & abortion. But if u confront one, decide for yourselves and be firm on the decision. Do not bend to pressure tactics from ur parents, relatives and in-laws.
