When there are couples who are expecting twins need to be thoroughly prepared before they arrive. They have to prepare more than those couples having one child. Parents of twins should be prepared a few weeks earlier as twins come early than the due date.

Hi if you are expecting twins then the most important thing is to eat properly and take enough rest. You should give frequent visits to the doctor so that you are checked regularly and maintained. Mothers expecting twins should visit the doctors more than the mothers with single baby.

There are a bit different nutritional guidelines for moms expecting multiple babies. The intake of food is increased and the intake of folic acid or calcium supplement is also increased. Your doctor will guide you with proper nutritional diet. The addition of calcium rich food, extra milk, fruits and vegetables should be consumed which are fortified.

Hi all mothers who are pregnant with twins should take utmost prenatal care. Make sure to choose a doctor who is high professional and experienced in delivering multiple births. Multiple births are risky and a specialized care should be taken who will ensure that you and your baby is safe and sound.

Hi all it is important to discuss with your doctor whether you want a vaginal birth or a caesarean section. Both these options should be discussed with your doctor before the due date. Sometimes even if you prefer vaginal birth there may be circumstances where the doctor might have to do a caesarean section.

Hello during your labour period your doctor will monitor your babies and their position and accordingly decide which delivery is safest for you and the babies. In a vaginal delivery the interval between two babies may take less than 20 to 30 minutes. This delivery is convenient as the babies are smaller as compared to one single baby and is easy to deliver.

Sometimes vaginal delivery is not possible due to complications or obstructions. There are times when the uterus is crowded and can cause compressions of the umbilical cord or the placenta during the labour. In this case caesarean section is done so that all the lives are not at risk and delivered safely.

Hi sometimes the position of the babies are not suitable for the vaginal delivery. The first baby might be born with head first but the second baby may be breech or transverse causing difficulties. Then in this case c-section is done. Mostly in twins c-section is preferred more.
