What are the rules that policemen need to follow to arrest women?

hearing about all the rapes and molestation happening around us in India, i am very concerned for the safety of me and my friends. does anybody know what the rules are for policemen to arrest women? I ask because, when we come back from discos, there is always naka bandi and police stop us to see if we are drunk when there are boys in the car but they never stop us when we are all girls in the car.

I just think that it is best to know our rights to prevent being taken advantage of by morally loose policemen.

quite a good question. According to law no woman can be arrested - with or without a warrant, unless there is a female officer present at all times. This is the most important rule.
