every day i see news of rapes in the papers. its shocking how men have become such animals that they can rape four and nine year old innocents. :mad: Poor girls who are just living their life suddenly have their life turned upside down or are killed after men use them as their personal joyrides. what can we do to create awareness about how wrong it is and how to prevent such things from happening without curtailing the rights of women everywhere.
Really sad but true...the world is not safe for girls anymore. I think we all are to be blamed. we need to change our aatitude then only we can make a difference. Need some serious actions rather than just talks.
We should start from the basic step....educating all. Education iis the solution of this problem. Gender sensitization should be done from school only. It is a slow process but surely effective.
Besides educating we need awareness. Mere demonstration is not a solution. Hue and cry over rape are a mere eye wash. Strict action is to be taken. We need more fast track courts, stricter laws to deal with such rcimes
Rather than educate other, we must start the revolution from our own family. We must change our views for others. People talk about respecting women, women empowerment, etc. etc. But when it comes to acting for such causes, no one takes the initiative.
