How to imbibe healthy eating habits? Which foods should be consumed daily for staying healthy and fit? Which nutrients should be consumed on daily basis?

Healthy eating habits are imbibed from a young age. When Kids are given healthy food choices from a young age, they imbibe healthy eating habits. As a parent we have to encourage healthy eating habits. We can do this by providing them with healthy options. Healthy snack ideas and healthy menu will keep the kids satiated and they will be happy and active. Once in a while junk should be allowed. If parents have healthy eating habits then it would be easier for the kids to follow the same. So parents should have fresh fruits and vegetables daily

For a healthy body, we must have fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Fresh fruits and vegetables provide antioxidants and many minerals and vitamins that are required for normal functioning of the body. These provide micronutrients that are not found in other food groups. In addition to these, there should be intake of dairy products as they help in muscle and bone growth. Nuts should also be included in daily diet along with carbohydrates, fats and protein.

can you tell me its ok if ill have all the things mentioned above without doing exercises every day??
does it reduces body fats??

Hi Divya,
Exercise should be a part of daily regimen as it keeps body fit. You need to have healthy food along with some kind of exercises so that you are fit both physically and mentally. Though healthy food promote good health but when had it with exercises the benefits increase manifold. Exercises help in proper utilization of food. They prevent fat accumulation and help in building muscles. If you seriously want to reduce fat, then you must include exercises with healthy food. You will get a faster result and will also maintain it longer.
