Ever since my daughter started going to her preschool, she is not keeping well. she frequently gets cold and cough. Sometimes cold and cough becomes so severe that she has to miss her preschool. Earlier she did not have this problem. Why now?

Most kids in preschool are susceptible to illnesses. they have a weak immune system so they frequently fall ill or catch infections. As your daughter is new to preschool, she will get time to adjusting with the changes. She is interacting with other kids and so more prone to catching infections.

Frequent colds are entirely normal during your child’s first year of life, as he or she is in the process of building up his or her own immune system.due to the weakness of their immune system, children frequently catch cold and other illnesses such as measles, chickenpox etc. Do not worry, as she grows up she will develop antibodies and will not be prone to infections easily.

In the early school years, child's immune system is put to the test. Young children in large groups are breeding grounds for the organisms that cause illness. Many childhood illnesses are caused by viruses. All it takes is a single child to bring a virus to school for the spread to begin. Illness-causing germs might spread from anything the sick child touches to other children who touch the same object and then put their fingers in their mouths.
