Messaging emails using HostGator

While messing with the settings I discovered my emails have now been going to my Hotmail email with no issues when using websitewelcome or HostGator's smtp settings. I use a shared hosting account with them so thought the reputation of the nameserver might have been an issue with Microsoft's Hotmail spam protection or maybe, sending enough emails had given the validation to Hotmail. I don't know.If anyone else has had similar issues I would like to hear what scenario you did to work around this or if this is just an update to MS or HG. I know Google Workspace, and other business email providers exist, but have been enjoying the inexpensive side of seeing what works.

You should use a platform like Mailchimp, Mailgun, etc. for your monthly newsletter. Hostgator/EIG users are always ending up on blacklists that require their support to resolve. You should also consider migrating your email to a dedicated email platform (e.g. Google Workspaces / G-Suite, Office 365 Business Basic, etc.) if you value your email deliverability.
