Kand (purple yam) - a delicious starter!


Ingredients
Very easy, very quick, very healthy

Purple yams are a rich source of Vitamin C

Ingredients:

Purple yam
Dhaniya jeera powder
Red chilli powder
Amchur powder
Salt
Lemon
Oil to shallow fry

Method
Wash well and boil kand in the cooker. Then peel and cut into slices. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry. Your Kand is ready!

Sprinkle dhaniya jeera powder, salt, red chilli powder and amchur powder. Some also like to add lemon drops.

Makes for a great starter at any party!
