Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pancakes)

Very healthy, very easy, very filling!

For the Okonomiyaki pancakes
2 small potatoes, grated
1 carrot, grated
2 spoons corn flour mixed in 3 tbsp of warm water
3 cups of chopped cabbage
2 tbsp chopped spring onion
1-inch grated ginger
1 Tbsp sesame or vegetable oil

Okonomi sauce (Mix well in a bowl)
3 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Other ingredients for garnish
Mayonnaise (optional), Spring onions, Sesame seeds

Method
1. Place the grated potatoes into a large bowl.
2. Then add the shredded carrot and cabbage, spring onion, and grated ginger. Mix in corn flour and water to combine, make sure the mixture binds completely. Add vegetable oil to the pan and bring to low-to- medium heat.

Make pancakes / fry both sides

Serve on small individual plates.
