Sev Tamatar ki subzi


Ingredients
Tomatoes
Sev
Rye (mustard seeds)
Jeera (cumin)
Gur / jaggery (optional)
Haldi
Red chilli powder
Salt
Oil

Method
Blanche tomatoes (put tomatoes in boiling water for 4-5min), peel skin and dice into small pieces.

Heat oil in a pan, saute rye and jeera, add tomatoes pieces, 1 tsp jaggery, haldi powder, red chilli powder, salt and 1/4 cup water. Cover the pan and let it cook for 6-7. Then add 1/4 cup sev, cover pan and cook for another 2-3 more minutes for sev to blend in. Your sev tamatar ki subzi is ready.

Garnish with sev and enjoy!
