Veg Frankies Street food made at home
Ingredients
A big hit with kids and adults alike!
Ingredients:
Wheat flour (for the wrap)
Boiled potatoes
Bread slices
Corriander leaves
Red chilli powder
Chaat masala
Salt
Method
First boil potatoes (1 medium sized potato will make 2 frankies). Finely chop onions and marinate them in vinegar.
Then mash the boiled potatoes and add pieces of bread (1 slice for every 2 boiled potatoes). Then add salt, chaat masala, red chili powder, corriander leaves and a spoonful of oil, and mix well. Once ready, lubricate your palms with oil and roll the mixture into long rolls. Then shallow fry these rolls in a flat pan. Your pattie is ready.
Then make parathas (with wheat flour). Once ready, put marinated onions and potato rolls in the hot paratha and roll it into a frankie. Enjoy with ketchup or Chutney!
(It's like having a stuffed aloo paratha or a plain paratha with a tangy potato subzi)
