Gujarati Raab (sweet kadha)


Ingredients
Very helpful for cold and sore throat!

:

Wheat flour
Jaggery (gur)
Ghee
Sauf (fennel seeds)
Ajwain (caron seeds)
Saunth (dry ginger powder)

Method
To make 1 cup of raab, heat 1 tsp ghee in a non-stick pan. Sauté 1.5 tbsp wheat flour for about 1 minute or until the flour turns light brown and there is a nice ghee fragrance. Ensure flour does not burn.

Then add 1 1/4 cup water and 1 tbsp gur. Let it cook for 3 min such that the gur melts and the ingredients come together.

Finally add a pinch of saunth, pinch of ajwain and 1 tsp sauf. Let it boil for another 30 seconds. Your raab is ready.

Enjoy it hot!!
