Butter cookies


Ingredients
Maida - 200 gm
Powdered Sugar - 100 gm
Amul Butter - 100 gm
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Milk - 4 Tbsp

Method
1. Sieve flour and baking powder
2. Cream butter and sugar till light
3. Add flour and make a soft dough using milk
4. Roll up the dough into a log of 2" thickness
5. Wrap it in cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes in the fridge
6. Cut into 1/4" thick slices
7. Bake in moderately hot oven (150 degree centigrade) for 10-15 minutes
8. Cool on a wire rack

Decorate with butter frosting (see precious recipe).
